AnneTheWriterThis weekend, #MitchMcConnell was drowned out by chants for him to "Retire!" during a public appearance. The 81yo Senate Leader was speaking at one of #Kentucky's largest annual events, the #FancyFarm Picnic, just days after his infamous "frozen" episode.
Personally, the shouts were beautiful music to my ears-- even better than the musical episode of #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds. I only wish there had been more sign-carrying #Republicans joining in on the chanting. The media has been able to paint the protest as purely Democrats.
