@cbyrd01 I started using #lastpass when #Firefox decided to discontinue #lockwise, which to me was perfect. Then there was the security breach and started reading everywhere that cloud stored passwords weren't a good idea, so I'm trying #keepassxc now. I'm still tidying it up, adding labels and icons etc and then I'll sync everything to use #keepass2android in my cellphone.

Lots of work, but getting some automatization done it'll be easier. I hope.

@Xnet dos veces he vuelto a #Firefox y dos veces me fui. La última, cuando dejaron de soportar #lockwise sin siquiera avisar, con lo bien que me venía. Aunque, bueno, he aprendido que tener claves en la nube no es la mejor política después de lo de #lastpass. También lo encuentro más lento que #Chrome. Habrá que ver qué pasa con los #adbloquers.

@danslerush Okay c'était bien #Lockwise qui a réactivé la télémétrie, je suis aller voir dans les paramètres et la télémétrie était bien activé (qui était désactivé c'est sûr puisque je n'avais plus la télémétrie dans la liste depuis un bon moment) ... un teste confirme la chose ... cet acharnement quoi tu m'étonne que AdGuard me l'ai remonté en haut de la liste des trucs les plus bloqué 🤦‍♂️

L'application Lockwise va cesser de fonctionner. Le gestionnaire de mots de passe conçu par Mozilla sera abandonné le 13 décembre. Il existe néanmoins une solution de repli.

No one I know uses Lockwise. If you one of those who actually use it then you maybe never heard of KeePass.

i'm currently not confortable with the way #vivaldi (and chrome) secures passwords : you just have to enter the computer's password...

i liked it better on #lockwise where you could use a master password.

Just because i trust people with my computer's password doesn't mean i trust them with all my passwords... More than that : my computer's password is kinda lame cause i have to type it several times a day (at work at least) and i don't want that lame password being the only key to all my 27-character long secure passwords ^^
