Now this shows how fickle the livestreaming world is right now. Youtube is also scaling back livestreams, I’m seeing vast downturn in a lot of streams audiences for many reasons (the whole social media bubble appears to have burst for many) and Twitch is exactly the same in many ways as it has been for a decade or more. It is very very difficult to make livestreaming work for the vast majority. It takes time, money and effort. I hope this is not indicative of how the livestreaming market is going….

Building a new platform in the streaming space is hard, unless you have really deep pockets and the will to really invest in a long term, unlikely to be profitable business. So #LiveSpace closing isn't a surprise.
