Meta lanza «Live Chats» en Threads: La apuesta definitiva por la conversación en tiempo real

Meta ha anunciado la llegada de los «Live Chats» a Threads, una nueva función que permite a los usuarios participar en salas de chat de texto en vivo para eventos, lanzamientos y debates de actualidad, acercándose aún más a la esencia del antiguo Twitter (Fuente Blog de prensa Meta).

La evolución de Threads hacia una plataforma de noticias e interacción en tiempo real ha dado hoy su paso más importante. Meta ha presentado oficialmente «Live Chats», una función diseñada para agrupar las conversaciones sobre temas específicos en una interfaz optimizada para la velocidad. A diferencia de los hilos convencionales, los Live Chats permiten que las respuestas aparezcan de forma instantánea sin necesidad de refrescar la pantalla, creando una experiencia similar a la de un chat de grupo masivo pero integrado en el feed público.

Esta herramienta está pensada estratégicamente para eventos deportivos, galas de premios y breaking news. Los usuarios podrán unirse a un Live Chat a través de etiquetas especiales o invitaciones de creadores, y cada sala contará con herramientas de moderación avanzadas impulsadas por IA para filtrar el spam y el contenido ofensivo en milisegundos. Además, Meta ha integrado una función de «Momentos Destacados» que resume mediante inteligencia artificial los puntos más importantes de la conversación para aquellos usuarios que se unan tarde al chat.

Con este lanzamiento, Mark Zuckerberg busca capitalizar el vacío dejado por las constantes transformaciones de X (antes Twitter), ofreciendo un espacio que combina la inmediatez del directo con la seguridad y el alcance del ecosistema de Meta.
