After nearly 4 years on #DuoLingo , I quit with a 1375 day streak. Started Italian, switched to Spanish (got to level 54), then added German (level 31). Started Polish last year and got to level 14. (what do levels even mean?) The lack of explanation made it increasingly frustrating and the gaming approach got real old. I have some vocab and can read/understand a bit but still can't speak worth a damn. Time to move on in my #LanguageLearning journey.

Has anyone used #LingQ ?

Also dieses Lingq mag so chaotisch sein wie Android 1.5 aber holy cow, die Optionen. Und mit Romanen, die man eh ein weiteres Mal lesen wollte, ist der Einstieg in jede Sprache möglich. :) Leider kostet der Spass 15 Franken pro Monat aber die App ist jeder anderen Sprachlernapp die ich kenne um Längen voraus.

I forgot to share it here, but I’ve been reading in Polish every day for 100 days now :)

I’m doing my best to use the language more now, and I’m not quite there yet, but I’m happy how much my understanding has progressed!

I tried LingQ for the first time and kinda hated it. The UI is a disaster. I don't know what to look at.

(And I question some word choices it decides to teach in the first lesson.)

Am I missing something?
