Yet another two weeks of #wanikani and I'm still burning things!
Burn rate: 3.43 items/day. A bit slower, but I'll take it.
Finished "Butter”, listening to “In the Megachurch" and so far not sure what to make of it, but I'll keep going on for a bit.
The enlightened column went below 500, which is great! I have 8 new items in Apprentice, because #wanikani keeps adding more content 🤣
I finally did some more #WaniKani kanji drill this weekend (after weeks in Japan ignoring the notifications on my phone’s Home Screen).
I did at least manage to puzzle out a few place names from the few kanji I have mastered (easier when you have the pronunciation right there too).
Have reached WaniKani level 29 after 138 days on level 28. 
Maybe I can hit 30 (the half way mark) this year?

Not much of an update, but I've been adding a bunch of new vocabulary words from the book I'm reading.
I'm still doing daily immersion with "Butter” audiobook, and I'll be honest if I say that I understand 10% of it, so I have to guess a lot of the plot from the parts that I got (and I'm often wrong 🤣)

Enlightened count finally dropped below 600. Funny enough the rest of the buckets are roughly the same. Let's burn more enlightened things so that I have easier time memorizing the rest! I have 771 items remaining in total so maybe in 5-6 months I'll finally get through (most of) it?!
Started reading a second book in addition to 文字渦: グラン・ヴァカンス. The story is pretty interesting so far!

I’m currently struggling through a book called 文字渦 which extremely difficult for me to read, but equally fascinating! It is precisely the type of meta self-referencing literature that I enjoy (hey, Charlie Kauffman!) and at the same time it is all about about kanji! What could be better?
