Pretty sure the decision to finally finish the bathroom reno in the midst of a stupid heat wave is a reaction to a current feeling of helplessness.

There's no real point to this post. Mostly I'm glad to have a bit of time to do it. I hate living in a place that has things undone, given the uncertainty of life in general. It would be lovely to have these projects finished and just be in a maintenance cycle.

Meanwhile, the cat is demanding cuddles. Did I mention the heat? Goofy kid.

My computer names over the past twenty years…
So many times I have opened up someone else's computer and see it named like "Joe's MacBook Air", "DESKTOP-12345", or something equally depressing like that. 

Where's the whimsy in that?!
