Long day yesterday. Had five students in a classroom for six hours taking the basic safety class for the state firearms license. Pleased to say they persevered and stayed engaged to the end.
Have a few follow on live fire sessions scheduled this week. (Live fire is one-on-one or two students in a session.) Hopefully the weather will be nice enough to use one of the outdoor ranges.

Great range night. Met some new folks. Lots of smiles. Had a few who hadn't shot in a while.
More coaching than shooting for me but had a blast. Even got to participate in the fun shoot and won an awesome homemade blade.
I know the culture war narrative is that all firearms owners are right wing etc but that's just false. If you're curious, come hang out with us. I'm pretty sure you'll have fun.
Will be spending the evening with 35 or so liberal folks saving the world from paper. Now I just need to decide what to bring.
@alissaazar This is why I have been encouraging people to get armed and trained, themselves, and to work on tight community bonds so when the nazis come marching down your streets, we're better prepared.
Initially, this was taken well, especially in the months post-J6.
Today? I'm now getting #neoliberals insisting that we all need to be disarmed for "our own good".

If you're able to attend an in-person training that's awesome, but online trainings are a good stop-gap and this one can be covered in a little over an hour from the comfort of your couch.
#Massachusetts folks please comment with your recommendations for in-person first aid and stop the bleed training in the #NewEngland area. The more of us who are able to provide first aid in an emergency situation, the better. Get yourself trained and get yourself ready.
