8. Peril by Bob Woodward
& Robert Costa - Almost tied with the Trump Tapes audiobook, which has its gems, but Peril takes the spot for its broader perspective/sources. One jaw-dropping story after another. "He tweeted too much but he got the job done" slams into this brick wall.
From my #LibFaves22 Woke up early to finish this last week, so I'm going to add to my top 10. EMPIRE OF EXILES by Erin M. Evans is found family #fantasy with characters I instantly cared about, set in an intricate & intriguing world. Bonus is a police procedural storyline and lots of twists. @bookstodon

Another of my top 10 books for 2022 and it's clear how much "comfort reading" I did with favorite authors & familiar stories this year! Was so glad to return to the world of Celehar in THE GRIEF OF STONES by Katherine Addison. #LibFaves22 #Fantasy @bookstodon
Almost done with my 2022 books countdown! Number 2 is BABEL by R. F. Kuang! #libfaves22 #bookstodon @bookstodon

7. Green Lantern: Alliance by Minh Lê, Andy Tong, Sarah Stern, and Ariana Maher - There's always room for a Lantern/Flash team-up, especially one following Tai Pham's wonderful debut book. I'll let past me show off some of the goods:

And starting my top three 2022 books for @bookstodon —number 3 is JOAN by Katherine J. Chen #bookstodon #libfaves22

(I'm behind on these but still slowly posting for whenever Twit is gone)

Day 2 #LibFaves22 goes to TRUE BIZ by Sara Novic for a literary, #OwnVoices coming-of-age story that greatly widened my understanding of Deaf culture. I would be amazed if this isn't eventually adapted to the screen.
