It's been a few weeks since I've posted for #WIPWednesday I'm hoping to get back into the studio today to work on this one. I'd like to finish it soon as I have some commissions and other projects I need to get on.

This morning I revisited this image that I captured in 2018. The original image was pretty noisy, so it was hard to work with back then. We had denoise software, but it wasn't that great.

Since then, many of the tools (with the help of AI) have come a long way, so along with a cup of coffee, I gave this one another shot this morning. I'm very happy with how it came out. It's still a little soft, but given the gear and conditions I was working with at the time, I can't really complain.

Late afternoon storms dissipate over the Lehigh Valley. The foggy remnants of the day's moisture cling to the hills of the Trexler Nature Preserve in North Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. We're deep into June in Lehigh County with the land covered in nature's green canvas, only offset by the blues of the sky and the orange hue of an impending sunset.
