@graymattergrcltd I knew I wasn't moving again before my first greyhound would pass, which he did early last year. I had planned to move later this year with my other greyhound. Among the cruelties 2025 had for me was her cancer, and her passing later in the year.
I had, then, planned to wait until after I moved and settled before finding my next greyhound. But, man, I'm not doing well without a dog. I suspect I'll be bringing one home before the move, even if I think it's a bad idea.

New toy day was always a good day, but Christmas new toy day was special because it was also lots of treats day.

What tickled me the most was when they shared the couch. Sometimes there'd be enough room for me. But usually, when they were both there, I had to find my own place to sit.

It actually wasn't super common they would share a space closely. Benson wasn't comfortable with it, and Leeloo understood this.
But Benson also understood that Leeloo sometimes needed this. So he would tolerate it.

The first time Benson and Leeloo shared a dog bed was contentious. I don't have a good pic of it. But reviewing the video, in hindsight, it could have gone so wrong.
But over time, they bonded quite closely.
Mostly, Leeloo would look for comfort from Benson when she couldn't get it from me for one reason or another.
One time, when it was nail trimming day, because they grew to love nail trimming day, Leeloo climbed into the bed with Benson because he was going first and she was jealous and wanted to go first. It was actually a problem!
Every now and then they'd lay in such a way to resemble the taijitu, or yin and yang symbol.
But they grew to love each other dearly.
