This is not a joke meme, nor meant to be humorous or lighthearted.

But I've been feeling the need for this artistic expression of my conflicted feelings about political violence, public responses to it, and the long term consequences for society and the struggle against capitalism.

For a few seconds, I had a thought to make and post a Laughing Man meme. Then thought it would be tasteless.

But actually, I think it's entirely appropriate to just post this original still from #GhostInTheShell: Stand Alone Complex from 2002. In which a counter-terrorism unit investigates a strange broad daylight attack on the president of a pharmaceutical company by a lone gunman and discovery a vast pit of conspiracy and corruption.

It's a great show I fully recommend.
