A few pics from the Conquest #LastArgumentofKings Game I had on sunday. We played 1300 pts my Nords against Old Dominion.

It was my friends first game and honestly I think I only won in the end, because I know my army well. I knew how to make them tanky and to avoid getting charged.

It was fun! And the Jotnars did a lot of work! But I sadly noticed how the Jotnar Seidr makes it really difficult to place other Jotnars beside him due to his huge axe.

I decided on the general color scheme for the Jotnar Seidr!

I am really happy and also surprised how well the blond hair already works. Staying with the greyish skin will be a challenge but I am looking forward to it.

I did some painting yesterday!
I'm still trying to find the right colors for both the sea jotnar and the jotnar seidr.

I want all the jotnars to have different skin and hair colors. But they should still have connecting colors to match the rest of the army.

Attempting to get back to Conquest, as I really loved the vibe and gameplay. We just found our group half distracted by other games, and half waiting for Sorcerer Kings to drop.

First pic is a mini that’s mostly done (ie what I’m going for) while the second mini is very work in progress, as I have to finish base coating before I can get to blessed drybrushing.

After endless finagling, I think I’m ready to call this prototype wrapped up. As utterly beautiful and fantastic as this sculpt is, I’m a bit frustrated how long I’ve taken on it and how much it’s blocked me on other projects.

Model is a W’adrhun Brave from Conquest: Last Argument of Kings. Paint scheme is hella inspired by the Frostwolf clan from Warcraft.
