The armour is nearly done; needs the final light metallic effect adding. I've started on some of the heads and weapons, and done a rough black rim to the bases to get a feel for overall colour balance (also it looks nicer, which encourages me that I'm making some progress).
Good stopping point for tonight. Focused on some smaller details, washes and dry brushing some areas.
Happy with the progress although tomorrow I have to figure out how I'm going to do the horns.

OK it's time to get back to the hobby. I took off this Thursday & Friday and the Mr will be gone this weekend to his LARP event. Which means....I'll have some uninterrupted time to just paint.

EdThis era of hobbying, with its increased availability of speedpaints, markers, and other "new" tech / options is honestly pretty amazing to me. There's a lot of stuff that I would have loved having access to years and years ago. You gotta love to see painting becoming more and more accessible to everybody! :D

The emerald green was scanning too dark compared to the example photos in the Combat Manual: Mercenaries book, so I spent a chunk of today deep cleaning my airbrush, whitening, and then redoing in phthalo green yellow shade for a brighter emerald look with still very emerald green shadows. This necessitated redoing the lasers and I redid the PPCs a bit just because one of them irritated me.
