j_bertolottiOne more finished model, a million new things I tried for the first time. The most notable were blending contrast paints (the red on the wings and black on the blade on top of the head), and the crackling on the base.
Biggest mistake was not to undershade enough before applying the contrast paints.
ππ’π« π―π²π€π²π¦π‘So, I think I've settled on a scheme for the 'nids from the Leviathan box, but now I need to try and remember which colours I used as I forgot to note them down in Brushrage, which is a bit tedious. Still more to do, but in general I'm happy.

The guys at Wargame Exclusive sent me some models to paint, so I thought I would start with this "Chaos Spawn Khorneye". It's an interesting model, and was fun time paint. I'm sure it would make a great proxy for a Chaos Demon.
