While walking my dog this morning, a woman stopped me to ask if #LakeShoreDrive is no cars today, only bikes. I replied that it is. She asked if it's like this every Sunday. Sadly, no. Once a month? Sadly, no. I explained that it is an annual event called #bikethedrive. She thought it was lovely.

Lastly, the #LakeShoreTrail remains the Crown Jewel. A friend and I rode part of it recently with @chicagobikesox. I couldn't have asked for a better ride. The only difference in regards to the Lakeshore between me now and me from 7+ years ago is that now I'm an advocate for depaving #LakeShoreDrive and giving that space back to the people. What a travesty that that highway exists. I can't stress enough how much it sucks.

A while back I completely destroyed a sway bar link on #LakeShoreDrive. I don't really trust the OE plastic links so I bought some much sturdier steel ones by #034Motorsport. Then I decided I want any new suspension parts going on the car to be painted red to match the brake calipers...

Now I've got some sick red sway bar links ready to install!
