Look at my planet. It is right there above us...but how far away it is...

I advocate for bicycle infrastructure and public transportation, especially rail. Chicago. Montréal est la meilleure ville du monde.

J'essaie de parler français quand c'est possible.

2025 definitely starting out here as bad as I expected. 😢
Hello all! I came here from the bad place a few years ago but had trouble building a network & lost interest. I’m a writer, PhD candidate & I’m into climate action, #urbanism & #auspol. I always want to see pictures of your pet.

They want you to be distracted. THEY WANT YOU TO BE DISTRACTED!

Do you really think that it is an accident that Trump will say something insane like, Haitians are eating cats and dogs? It's not, they know the news will play it for weeks, and we will be outraged. Meanwhile, they are achieving sinister shit in the background that only a few news outlets are reporting. It will take time and concerted effort to put all this Project 2025 shit into place. Let's make it as difficult as possible, and take as long as possible.

I don't know what's going to happen, and neither do you, but don't get distracted. They love it when we are in chaos and disorganized, and blaming each other, instead of focusing on one important goal, limit the damage and get them the fuck out.

Big episode coming tomorrow...
Le nom de ce qui se passe à Gaza a été tranché par Wikipédia suite à de longues discussions sur la base des faits et de publications universitaires, et le résultat est sans appel : il s'agit bien d'un génocide.

I don’t mean to be insensitive, but it is too late to say, “l voted for Trump because I thought he would be better for the economy or wanted to punish Democrats over Gaza… But I didn’t vote for him to deport my friends and family, or take away my health insurance, or stop my sister from having a lifesaving abortion.”

Sorry, but that isn’t how elections work.

Voting is not like ordering food at a cafeteria, it is a Prix Fix meal.

If you elect Trump, you get the whole package.

Jelani Cobb on the guardrails that are no longer in place to safeguard democracy during a second Trump Presidency; an emboldened Republican Party; right-wing judges; and mistakes by Kamala Harris’s campaign.

Love when some for example dipshit strokes their chin and says something like “it’s ridiculous to say Trump will be a dictator, he’s been president before and survived,” like telling your doctor, “it’s ridiculous to say this cancer could be fatal, I’ve had this same cancer once before and survived.”
Voting for someone who would strip an individual of basic human rights and then telling that individual not to be divisive over politics and that we can all is still be friends is a form of gaslighting.
