We celebrated National Trails Day with a Cascade Bicycle Club free group ride to the opening celebration of Segment C of the Lake to Sound Trail in partnership with King County Parks & the Leafline Trails Coalition. This trail is easily accessible from the Angle Lake light rail station and connects the cities of SeaTac, Burien, Tukwila, & Des Moines. It was my first time breaking through a banner (saved a piece as a souvenir).

4/4 Last on my #SEAbikes adventure, I checked the status of the Lake to Sound Trail
-love this section of Des Moines Creek Trail
-196th St & 18th Ave were converted from roads into part of trail; it’s awesome!
-boardwalks are great
-Segment C is, uh, almost complete (2 block gap)
