#Láadan #conlang #lidepla #toripes
Ĉarmegaj vortoj en #Láadan (laŭ mi)
- babí (birdo)
- limlim (sonorilo)
- rul (kato)
- húumid (strigo: [húu] onomatopeo + [mid] estulo)
- ahana (ĉokolado; laŭlitere: amata manĝaĵo)
- lalilom (sono de pluvo sur tegmento: [lali] pluvo + [lom] kanto)
I wonder if #conlangs could be a way to verify that something isn't made with AI.
At least when it comes to something like Google Translate, it will do Esperanto text but won't even do a robotic Text To Speech. (I did see this website that has not-robotic TTS for Esperanto: https://parol.martinrue.com/).
But Esperanto might be too "main stream". Who would bother training an LLM on #Láadan ? There are so few sources to even use for training.
Then if a conlang gets too popular we jump to a new one 😏
Láadan Classroom - Lesson 1 - Basic Sentences (Láadan)
I'm moving my #conlang content to PeerTube (Spectra.Video)! I'm going to add re-uploads of my stuff from YouTube first, and any new content will go here!
The Láadan conlang was designed so none of the phonemes are "sharp" sounding, they're all soft sounds. So even with a name like mine, Rachel, it would instead be something like Reshal.
There is a tone, "lh", which is kind of a hissing noise that gets used as like a universal "affix to make this thing bad".
The book I've been reading this week is
Death Glitch - How techno-solutionism fails us in this life and beyond, by Tamara Kneese.
I've thought a lot about the preservation of one's online works after passing, partially from the passing of #Láadan 's author a while ago, but also thinking about my own.
Still working thru the book, will share any insights.
I lot of my mobile games will probably be totally unusable sooner or later due to Android updates and Google Play store requirements that I can't be arsed to maintain, so I might end up remaking some for PC, or just as webapps you can use on PC or Phone, IDK.
