At this stage of my life, I'm not the right person to give restaurant recommendations. I will suggest #LaBanquise (in the Plateau, arguably the top #poutine restaurant), and #Moishes (the classic #Montréal steakhouse), if that's what you feel like.
There's normally lots of good music around too, but I don't get out to concerts either, :(

Espiègle. C'est joué. Comme les enfants qu'ils n'ont jamais cessé d'être. C'est joué d'avance. On sait où l'on va. C'est-à-dire justement que l'on ne sait pas. Alors c'est joué d'après. D'après le texte ? Il suffit d'une fourche et le chemin bifurque, les touches noires et blanches prenant les couleurs d'Arlequin jusqu'à pousser l'orchestre à des pirouettes de saltimbanques.

After waking up at the Humaniti and having breakfast, we took the metro to visit the Bisophere. We then took the metro and bus to Mile End where we had bagels from both St-Viateur and Fairmount. We ended the day with poutine at La Banquise and snacks in Chinatown.
