@johnmacintosh so much #desktop space

#LoDPI was good for that!

#WindowsXP

Personally, I think #Xandros as was preinstalled on tue #EeePC701 4G is *peak #FrutigerAero if not #perfection in terms of [#LoDPI]-#UI & #UX!

Was playing around with the #MacMini. Hooked up #HDMI to my #4K monitor expecting to be able to use a scaled resolution (in my case, 3072x1728 #HIDPI). Wouldn't work. Only worked in #LODPI. Then I read this article - a little disturbing. Apparently the M4 can't run HIDPI 4K across HDMI. But I CAN run it with a dumb TB -> dongle -> HDMI setup like I was forced to do on the Macbook Air (due to no HDMI port). For real?! @skwee357 I don't and I hate it when stuff is useless below 720p or on "#LoDPI"-Screens...
Haven't had a #unixdesktop screenshot in a while. Because why not. Day-to-day working laptop. Using Pop! OS 22.04 with #GNOME because that's the only distribution setup I managed to find for that machine to handle a #hidpi built-in and a #lodpi external display in a reasonable way that doesn't get into your way every other day.
