I have not been following developments in the #GPU market but have GPU manufacturers started putting USB-C ports on their GPUs?

Because it would be very cool if they did. Then USB-C could really become the everything port and you could plug in your Monitors using USB-C too.

This would also be great to finally end HDMI and replace it with DisplayPort since it's the better standard in many ways.

My Steam Machine is a 50ft HDMI Cable

It turns out that a _very_ long HDMI cable, a Steam Controller 2 and Bazzite on a second drive was all I needed to get a comfortable couch gaming experience.

The current version of #KDE on my machine (6.7) seems to be very buggy in terms of what happens when I try to add extra monitor(s) in the #Wayland version, whether it’s via #HDMI or #USB with #Displaylink. The screens go haywire and I can even get a terminal open. I’ve had to revert back to the #X11 version just as I’d got used to Wayland. I’m no fanboy of Wayland or X11 but when such a major breaking of the system happens, it forces my hand. Not good at all.

RP2350B bells&whistles development board features on-board RP2040 debugger, HDMI, and microSD card slot

While searching Tindie for a new project, I found a new Raspberry Pi RP2350B-based development board called “Bells&Whistles,” which is interesting because it also features an onboard RP2040-based debugger running Picoprobe firmware, removing the need for a separate debug probe. Other than that, it has an HDMI output, a MicroSD card slot for storage, an optional 8 MB of PSRAM, and since it uses the Raspberry Pi RP2350B variant, it supports up to 46 GPIO pins. The board also features two USB Type-C ports, one for the RP2350B and the other for the RP2040 debugger, and is especially useful for clutter-free rapid prototyping and development workflows.
