every time i read another article about the #AC8646 crash into an ARFF truck at #LGA i can't help thinking about how the two young Air Canada pilots may have chosen to take that impact *squarely head-on* (knowing they would probably not survive) to avoid the truck wreckage shearing off a wing with fuel in its tank that could trigger a fire engulfing the passengers. maybe they should get posthumous bravery awards?
