Qualche giorno fa la #UkrainskaPravda ha pubblicato un comunicato in cui denunciava le pressioni ricevute dall'ufficio presidenziale #Zelensky.

UP è la testata (una delle prime online) fondata e diretta da Georgij #Gongadze, scomparso il 16 settembre 2000, presumibilmente ucciso subito (data della morte ufficiale 17/09/2000), il suo cadavere fu ritrovato a sud dell'oblast di #Kyiv il 3 novembre irrorato di acido e senza testa, che non venne mai ritrovata. Il funerale fu rifiutato dai parenti per questo motivo.

#Gongadze indagava su un caso di omicidio nel Porto di #Odessa, per questo era stato minacciato.

L'allora presidente #Kuchma non smentì le registrazioni in cui diceva di volerlo mettere a tacere, ma dichiarò la sua estraneità.

La vicenda suscitò enorme clamore dando vita ai moti "Verità" e "Ukraijna bes Kuchma"

#Ukraine’s former president Leonid #Kuchma has warned that the US “will lose face before the entire world” if it abandons #Kyiv, and said mistakes by the west contributed to Vladimir #Putin’s all-out #invasion last year.
The former president said it was unrealistic to think Putin would agree to peace talks. He has already declared that four #Ukrainian provinces in the south and east “belong” to #Russia, even though they are only partly under #Moscow’s control.
