And just finished watching #TheVolcano: #RescueFromWhakaari on #Netflix and it is terrifying, gut-wrenching, and life-affirming.

I remember seeing the videos taken from a boat as the ash chased them, but never understood the scope of the event, and that people died and suffered life-changing injuries, physical and emotional.

As the #Kraffts said, gray #volcanos kill.

#RoryKennedy is a very good #documentary #filmmaker. Watch #Downfall #TheCaseAgainstBoeing, also excellent.

Just watched #FireOfLove from #NationalGeographic on #DisneyPlus.

I remember when the #Kraffts died because I was aware of them from films they had made.

This confirms my opinion that they were obsessive and reckless in their work, but it also shows they came to understand what they were doing needed to have a higher purpose than fulfilling their personal quests for knowledge and excitement.

Well told, with amazing imagery.

They've saved hundreds of thousands, and will likely save millions.
