WhooshNow I know why DuoLingo has magpies doing all sorts of things in Korea. They are everywhere.
Learning the language, even a bit, lets you in on cultural things and jokes - Koreans love word play.
Also, when I like a kPop song, I will often try to translate the lyrics and even if much of the song is in English - it seems to me that the most moving and deep lyrics are in Korean.
