New socks. I have turned the heel of this one. First time I've tried this style of heel. I'm undecided. Sock will need some blocking, I think.

I'm knitting a pair of socks, new to me pattern, and it says to knit the leg in ribbing " to the desired length". Any suggestions? The picture shows a fairly short leg. I usually make the leg about 7 1/2", so I'm thinking maybe 4 1/2". That's where I am now.

When I finish the toe of my sock, I always weave in all my ends. Then when I finished knitting the second sock, the pair is complete, nothing left to do. Last night I finished two socks, so I have a pair ready to gift to a new grandma, and the start of a pair of spring socks.

New socks. I started these in November, but set them aside to make hats, mitts and scarves, then a sock that didn't fit. #HKsockKAL These socks fit, but a young man passing through has asked to claim them.
Yarn is West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply. The pattern is Hermione's Everyday Socks.
