I am seriously considering using this pattern to make a whole king-size blanket for the bed. It'd have to be made in panels and seamed, of course, but how cozy would this be!?
Day 2 of the Emerald City Blanket:
Now that I’m more than a repeat in, the diamonds are starting to show! It’s reversible, so the v’s and bumps will be switched on the other side. I anticipate the knit stitches to start curling in a bit more as they get further from the needles, making the motif more evident.

Emerald City Blanket Day 1:
My needles were on fire yesterday (and listening to The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson) and even though it's bulky weight and builds quickly, that's still a lot of progress for 160 stitches. Much happier with this than my previous green velvet blanket attempts!
