@mehluv @viz @samebchase and all other #Emacs users…
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using #kmonad to configure Space to act as Ctrl when held. I’ve been using it for almost 5 years now, it’s great both in Emacs and outside it.

@crwx Not in my code, but in other programs that don't have my beautiful #emacs bindings.
But I'm about to switch to a keyboard with #qmk firmware (#bastardkeyboard #charybdis ) and use #kmonad for a similar setup with other (laptop) keyboards, so I hope to use my bindings *everywhere* soon.
I have a keyboard like the picture below.
I am looking for a KMonad config for this type of keyboard.
Does anybody have one or know of where I can get one?
Something like a Colemak or Dvorak mod using a wide base (like making the left side on the left-edge and re-purposing the numpad for alphabet keys on the right-edge)
Okay, it's not that old yet, but https://github.com/kmonad/kmonad is the best tool I've come across this year.
With #KMonad you can map any key on your keyboard to any other key, key sequence or even command. It's also super easy to define and use multiple keyboard layouts, and you can jump back and forth between them.
An extremely useful tool 😍
