Steve Roe (librasteve) wrote another nice Rakudo Weekly Newsletter (so my Liz did not have to and could work on something awesome), and started with new developments on and writings about Cromponent.
Developments: a New Problem Solving Issue, 2 New Pull Requests, 5 new modules, 8 updated modules.
Writings/Media: several blogs and videos, a Weekly Challenge, 2 skeets, and an In Memoriam because of Matt Trout's passing.
Enjoy!

#RakuLang
It's not the fastest client around, given Python's overhead, but at least it's definitely the most complete so far.
It looks like there's also #Mastodonochrome, a TUI client written in rust, but I don't think there's a package in NetBSD for it
I think the saddest thing of all is that we DO have answers to almost all our toughest problems.
There is simply not the collective will to make the sacrifices needed to implement the solutions.
We are paralysed by selfishness.
A big thanks to all 11 participants of the 18th #OpenStreetMap #Delhi Mapping Party! 🙂
We hope you will join us again to help make #OSM better. Each mapper counts!
I have a more complex strategy.
1) Off: For apps that don't have any right to bug me like Amazon, Zomato and similar. If I ordered something, I know I will get a call anyway.
2) Sound Off: For notifications that don't require urgency like personal email, social media apps, messaging apps (excluding whatsapp)
3) Special for WhatsApp: I keep all non-essential chats permanently in Archive which turns off any notification. When you open WhatsApp, you see the number of archived chats that have messages. That's the only indication I get to check them.
