I occasionally wrote #wine blog pieces a bunch of years ago that admittedly were likely not seen all that often. Two years ago, Wine365 reached out to me and asked about something I had written that was still out there on my largely dormant website. (Pandemic project to get a new website up is almost completed, since we are still in a pandemic). It was a Martin Luther King Jr. wine story and they asked if they could run it.
I figured it was discovered for a reason and since it wasn't going to get many more eyes on it where I had it posted, I agreed to let them, especially since the original teller of the story asked that people share it.
So in that spirit, and in the spirit of the day today, here it is. How a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a segregationist politician and a journalist were brought together in a civil manner, if even briefly, to share a bottle of wine. #mlk #mlkday #martinlutherking #kingday #martinlutherkingjr
