DIY #GuitarPedals second project went much faster than my first effort! While the Klone pedal took me 3 or 4 sessions to solder all the components on, I managed to fill out the #KingOfTone board in one sitting! I did have to use the solder sucker in one spot where a blob leached off into the wrong spot. Just like the original, the kit includes options a high gain option on each side, so I went with high gain on the left side. Waiting for Baroness to paint the enclosure now.

Duke of Tone is the one — Kvesti's lair

I don’t remember if I reported latest changes to pedalboard. I had compressor on board but couldn’t find good use for it. It just made board noisier without actually giving much. Decided to try replacing it with low gain overdrive. I had One Control Persian Green Screamer. It is based on Tube Scream

Kvesti's lair
Rare guitar pedal: Costs thousands or have 5 year waiting list.
Guitar nerds: This is the greatest pedal ever. It is magical
Pros: I used it as clean boost to slightly push dirty amp. I use other pedals now because it was so big and expensive and I don't like the sound that much anymore. #GuitarPedals #KingOfTone #Klon #DukeOfTone

I’m making a start on some side-by-side comparisons between the #Bluesbreaker and its offspring.

Blog posts with audio coming at some point this month.
