Camp 9: The next morning after waking up on top of the #KazahariPass we rolled down, down, down back into the outskirts of #Tokyo where we got trapped in a super mall with no windows and no #vegetarian food (a persistent problem) .. escaping eventually to have a skanky car park dinner and then off to the #TamaRiver where we slept on the bank in a park where three rather large cats live

Camp 8: We left #Okutama with the intention of checking out the lake but I figured at the last minute we had enough time for some more mountains so we headed up #KazahariPass - another amazing climb on smooth, smooth tarmac in the evening with only a few motorcycle hoons for company. Camped at the summit 1150m :), awoke terrified of bears in night when clattering sounds but there were none 🤣
