Last night was nothing short of magical at Brimbank's Writers & Readers Festival, with the incredible Kate Ceberano. Hearing her share her creative journey was inspiring, and her intimate performance was a sensory delight. The joyful connection between Kate and the AUSLAN interpreter during 'Pash,' brought a tear to my eyes. Seeing disability inclusion like that, was truly magical!

I had the privilege of asking Kate a meaningful question and sharing a childhood memory of seeing her perform when I was just 11. Meeting her for a book signing and photo was the perfect ending to an unforgettable night—one of the best Brimbank-hosted events I've ever attended.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful woman who gifted me a copy of Kate’s book. Your kindness left me speechless, and I’m still beaming. I don't know who you are, but if you're reading this and are open to it, I'd love to buy you a coffee!

Reading that back, it sounds like an ad 😄 But I really do recommend it!

Hearing the history of these bands and their tracks from the actual band members and people involved is great. Last season ended with an interview with #PeterAndre and they've recently had #BachelorGirl, #Icehouse, #CDB, #KateCeberano and more.

I'm rediscovering a lot of Aussie pop music from the 90s!
