I don’t know what the obsession is with having controls floating on top. It is not better, it takes up *more* space and it creates visual noise due to how things scroll behind it and reappear in the small gap below.
Maybe the scrollbar issue is a beta problem that’ll be fixed, but regardless, the existing layout is better visually and logically.
