Today I did a flight from Pasco to Pullman to Walla Walla to Pasco again. It was my first solo cross country flight. For the most part it was smooth and I had a good time. Walla Walla was a bit windy to land in but I got to park next to my plane I flew when I started my training. All in all a fun day.

As an #avgeek, it's fairly obvious what's going on here. But someone on the ground in Pasco, Washington may be puzzled to see a Virgin Australia 737 flying into the Tri-Cities Airport #KPSC. Flying with Boeing flight number 25, this brand new Boeing 737 MAX8 has not been delivered yet. VH-8VH is probably on a customer acceptance flight test with Australian pilots at the controls and Boeing test pilots supervising since Boeing still owns the plane until paid for it. #aviation #travel #avgeek #PNW

Added context: Pendleton, #Oregon is on I-84 about half way between Portland (through the Cascade Range via the Columbia River Gorge) and Boise (over the Blue Mountains), 3+ hours either way. Also 1hr15 drive to Pasco WA Tri-Cities Airport #KPSC. Pendleton has not had passenger rail since Amtrak closed the Pioneer line in 1997. #KPDT airport maintains airline service only through federal Essential Air Service grants. #aviation #travel #avgeek #PNW

"Breeze Adds Five New Cities" by Airline Geeks / Ryan Ewing - Breeze Airways pounced on some of the vacancies left by Avelo's West Coast collapse, with new service to Eugene #KEUG and Redmond/Bend #KRDM in OR and Pasco/Tri-Cities #KPSC in WA.
