Himmel hilf, in den Öddelecken sammelt sich wirklich immer 'nur ein bisschen' Öddel an.
Dass uns in einer Woche für eine Woche eine Austauschschülerin besucht, hat mich mal animiert, die Ecken fein zu kriegen. Ist auch echt mal nötig.

Nicht perfekt und mehr kitsch als chic, aber Retrokitsch ist echt mein guilty pleasure 😅

About 30 years ago, my sister and I found ourselves at a theme restaurant in #Anaheim where they served drinks in #cowboy #boot-shaped #mugs. They came back to Australia with us, and they’re probably still collecting dust on her bookcase.

Those mugs live on in my head, rent-free, BTW. My inner, frustrated anthropologist ruminates frequently on how #kitsch anchors the identities of people from differing socioeconomic backgrounds.
