Asking your parents (who are in their 70's) to get a shower stool for their bathroom.

Not for themselves, but for when you're visiting...

Being disabled means planning 30+ minutes extra for getting to an appointment in time and then still end up being late due to a symptom jumping at you at the worst possible time. And then all of a sudden any regular delay like missing a bus or a detour with a train results in you having to wait another month or three until you can give it another try.

Today it's just a haircut I might not get before January thanks to my disability making me miss the bus, the train being delayed to issues with people on the tracks and troubles with the tracks itself. So what.
However, disabilities dgaf about what you miss, so imagine this would be for an ambulatory surgery, a doctor's appointment or simply being at work in time every day.

And every time somewhere in my brain is a voice telling me "Well, you should've planned more time." But no amount of planning ahead is ever going to be enough.

That feeling when you did a lot of cleaning at a day but still feel zero feeling of accomplishment, because "there is still more to do", "why didn't I do this earlier" and "normal healthy people would have managed this in a day" is circulating in my mind. Thanks mental health issues, you're a great help in acknowledging positive things in my life!
