Today, June 2, 2026, Italy celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Republic.

The institutional referendum in which Italians chose the republican form marked the beginning of a new path toward democracy, thanks to the participation of women, for the first time in national political life.

It is for this reason that we remember with pride and celebrate with emotion this fundamental date in our country’s history.
