I always thought the patent was weak. I mean zoned sound control has existed for decades. Merely translating that to iot speakers is kinda dumb.
Now the jitterless implementation of distributing sound over a network... Well that's been done too, but specific techniques (i.e. over WiFi) could potentially be patented.
