I strongly suspect, from the way that Jon Craig initially turned his back to @CountBinface, commented that it 'looks like something out of Star Wars', and tried to hand back to the studio as Anna Botting was saying 'It's Count Binface.', that Craig genuinely did not know.
Whereas the #ManchesterEveningNews very much did know Binface and loved being next in line after that interview.
