Houston-area state Rep. Jon Rosenthal announces run for Texas Railroad Commission

Rosenthal, who represents the Northwest Houston and Cypress areas, was one of more than 50 Texas House Democrats who broke quorum and left the state earlier this year to temporarily block the passage of a Republican bill to redraw Texas' congressional maps. He is vying to unseat Republican Jim Wright on the railroad commission.
