‘Jeep Weekend’ beach restrictions for 2025 approved by Galveston County commissioners

The loosely organized, annual gathering is slated for this weekend on Bolivar Peninsula. As part of the new rules, those without a permit will only be able to drive within the designated event zone, which will have a single access point and a single exit point. Traffic in the event zone will be limited to one direction and speeds of 15 mph.
