As a Tokushima JET alumna, it's hilarious rewatching Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers with the knowledge that Cye/Shin is in fact snoozing under the Naruto whirlpools. They even show the kanji for Naruto (鳴門) on Mia/Nasuti's computer.

If you start at Bristol, Tennessee (NE corner of the state), Detroit is closer to it than Memphis is, despite Memphis being in the same state.

We’ve seen something similar with the #JETAlumniAssociation/#JETAA - PA’s grouped with NYC (because of Philly…300 miles away). But Pittsburgh’s #JETProgram applicants usually apply through DC’s consulate and fly out of DC. And DC, Detroit, and Toronto - also JETAA chapter cities - are closer to us than NY. 😆

The Capcom Localization Team is going to be at the JET Program career fairs in Tokyo and Osaka! I've been pushing for us to attend for years, and finally made it happen this year 😁​

This career fair is open to JET Program participants ending their contracts this summer, as well as JET alumni. If you fall in either of those groups and are interested in working in localization, please register and come say hi!

She's a half-American singer and pianist from #Tokushima, #Japan (my second home in the world), and she was gaining fame nationwide when I lived there on the #JETProgram. (My junior high students said I looked like her, with my wavy hair and glasses. 😅)
