Sono state individuate dai carabinieri del comando provinciale di Bergamo alcune aree rurali in cui potrebbe trovarsi la testa di Pamela Genini, la 29enne uccisa lo scorso 15 ottobre a Milano dall'ex fidanzato Gianluca Soncin e poi seppellita nel cimitero del suo paese natale, Strozza, nella Bergamasca, dove qualcuno ha profanato la salma. Per il vilipendio del cadavere è indagato dalla Procura di Bergamo l'amico di Genini, Francesco Dolci. Oggi la svolta nelle indagini dei carabinieri, che in una nota comunicano di aver dato esecuzione a un decreto di perquisizione emesso dalla Procura. L'attività - viene spiegato - è "finalizzata alla ricerca della parte della salma ad oggi non rinvenuta e interesserà alcune aree rurali preventivamente individuate sulla base delle risultanze investigative sinora acquisite".
Le operazioni, "particolarmente complesse per estensione territoriale e caratteristiche dei luoghi da ispezionare", dureranno più giornate. Per le ricerche è stato chiesto il supporto di un'unità cinofila specializzata nella ricerca di resti umani, proveniente dal centro carabinieri cinofili di Firenze. Dalla Toscana sono così arrivati nella Bergamasca "Claus", un pastore belga Malinois, e "Hula", un esemplare di pastore tedesco. I due cani sono stati addestrati proprio a individuare parti anatomiche, anche in ambienti complessi e su superfici vaste, come l'area in cui verrà cercata la testa di Pamela Genini.

Italianabinieri in the Bergamo provincial command have identified several rural areas where the head of Pamela Genini, the 29-year-old killed last October 15th in Milan by her ex-boyfriend Gianluca Soncin and subsequently buried in the cemetery of her hometown, Strozza, in the Bergamo region, where someone desecrated her body, might be found. The friend of Genini, Francesco Dolci, is being investigated by the Bergamo Public Prosecutor's Office for the desecration of the body. Today marks a breakthrough in the investigations by the carabinieri, who in a statement announce that they have executed a search warrant issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The operation – it is explained – is “aimed at searching for the part of the body yet to be found and will focus on several rural areas previously identified based on the investigative findings to date.”
The operations, “particularly complex due to their territorial extension and the characteristics of the areas to be inspected,” will last several days. Support was requested from a specialized canine unit in the search for human remains, from the Carabinieri Canine Center in Florence. From Tuscany, “Claus,” a Belgian Malinois shepherd, and “Hula,” a German Shepherd, arrived in the Bergamo region. The two dogs were trained specifically to identify anatomical parts, even in complex environments and on vast surfaces, such as the area where Pamela Genini’s head will be sought.
