Capsuleer Day XXII required me to mine some #Tyranite. So I went for it with my #Retriever and tried some of those new filters on #Pixelfed upon uploading.

Last weekend I took the thrasher for a spin into abyssal deadspace and did some experiments with graphics settings inside the EvE Online Client. I was able to get rid of must of the display errors. Explosions still show some blackish rectangles but besides that I am quite satisfied with the outcome and I really do enjoy the abyssal deadspace PvE content.

i had some time on my hands the last couple days, thanks to a virus which tied me to bed most of the time. I used some of the time to play around a bit with Proton on Pop!OS and EvEOnline. I ended up writen a new entry for Proton DB website. Seems stable enough to play at least PvE content at the moment. I still have issues with graphical artifacts like the funny diamond shapes all over the surfaces and the black squares and cubes in space. Maybe some of you have an idea how to fix that. I tried some other start commands in Steam but those always resulted in a way more unstable game client. I guess I'll live with those artifacs for now coz the game is otherwise great and is currently running stable enough to provide fun and entertainment for me.
