The app known as #infinityforlemmy is now known as #eternity. Cool. #lemmy
Little update for those of you who care about #Lemmy, my by far favorite client #InfinityForLemmy (a fork of #InfinityForReddit) has been renamed to #Eternity to differentiate better, especially since the developer started to introduce Lemmy specific features (like that instance overview) it's a very good move! I don't know if the placement is perfect because I probably won't have to look at it more than once or twice but it's a very welcome addition and I love the new name!

@roygreenhilt @Groovytasia Lemmy is not as content heavy for specialized communities yet, but it has grown a lot in the past few months. I switched from #reddit to #lemmy months ago and haven't looked back. #infinityforlemmy is the icing on the cake:

I've been experimenting with adding a better "statistics block" for users and communities on #infinityforlemmy

For now, this is my favorite. It's heavily inspired by the Memmy IOS client.

What do you think?

Is a fork of the #infinity #reddit client, and highly recommended. Lemmy.world overloaded, but you can sign up on another instance.

I just spend quite a bit of time shilling for #InfinityForLemmy on #Lemmy and I think it's working, the news about it in IzzyOnDroid's repo seems to spread on Lemmy! :)
I just discovered a dream come true, someone is hard at work porting my favorite #Reddit client #Infinity to #Lemmy! It's by far not done jet but already feels and works better than all the other clients I tried recently and I will start to use it right away so make sure to try it out if you are in need of a truly spectacular open source Lemmy client too! ;)

@chrisisgr8 Sorry I'm not seeing it. Google Search and Youtube still work for me (for the limited kinds of videos I watch).

Birdsite was the worst of the big social networks well before 2022.

I have lots of complaints about Discord, but none of them are new or really exacerbated in 2023.

Windows...okay, I don't know this one, since I ditched Windows in 2017.

The only one where I agree with your timeline is Reddit. I'm hoping #InfinityForReddit gets converted into #InfinityForLemmy.
