The more time I spend with the new Apple mobile OSes the more I absolutely loath this design change.

I’m sure there are good things under the hood; I’ve experienced some noticeable improvements in apps that have been updated, but visually this is fucking trash. I find the experience of using Safari on mobile off putting. I hate the appearance of the keyboard; it takes me meaningful time to orient my eyes and fingers so I can start typing. The glass plate appearance of icon groups makes it hard to process the icons represented on them.

Some previous changes have been awkward, some took time to settle into. This is truly horrific.

If this had been my first experience with an Apple GUI I would have never used it.

- you get a notification when someone quotes you
- on their post, you have a new menu to remove their quote of your post
- you confirm, and your quote is removed and shown as having been retracted
- the quote is no longer displayed on the original post
