Victoria is clearly joining the rest of Australia in a crackdown on the right to protest + our democracy. The Victorian Labor Government is protecting corporations rather than our communities.

At the international mining and resource conference #IMARC in Melbourne today Victoria Police have surpassed themselves in recent violence. There is no independent report of violence from protestors including XR, unions, other Environmental groups, indigenous peoples. Yet police have used batons, capsicum spray, and horses.
One woman had legs broken by a horse and others were injured by police. Police were injured arresting protestors roughly.
