Just got back from a departmental retreat where one of the exercises involved talking about our favorite music. A colleague said she was fond of pieces she remembers from the early 2000's, because they make her "feel nostalgic."

My eldest (age 8) is really enjoying the 1991 TV series of Where's Wally!

We have 3 of the books and I started singing the theme tune at some point - and then found this handy video I could share to YouTube Kids: https://youtu.be/BiXrDQsK24k

Eldest is finding it very funny and entertaining. The show is 35 years old. When I was myself nearly 8 in 1991, I wonder what 35 year old kids TV shows I was watching.

Both kids also enjoy Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner, 70+ years old!

A few weeks ago, I got to talking about Magic: The Gathering with young friends who play now. I casually mentioned I had a Black Lotus (and other old cards). After bringing it to show them, I finally bit the bullet and sold that and several others (like Mox, and the time cards). I still have to sell the rest of the collection, but I'm happy these cards are going to folks who will love them like we did thirty years ago.
