IEC sets up new system committee on sustainable electrified transport
In 2018, the IEC SMB set up an ad-hoc group (AhG 81) to address the role of the IEC in the field of electric vehicles. This led to the establishment of a new system evaluation group, SEG 11, that evaluated the potential role of the IEC in the area of future sustainable transport (FST). SEG 11 developed a report on FST that examines the current standardization landscape in transport and how the IEC can contribute.
